Let's Make Some Art!
Relaxed, informative, and inspiring, my workshops are designed to give you the confidence to continue making art long after the session is over. Whether it's a meditative drawing class or a wild paint night, I will guide you through unique and fun exercises, helping you tap into your creative self!
Gilligan Girls Floral Boutique on Main Street, Playwrights Theatre Centre in Strathcona and the Vancouver Planetarium in Vanier Park are some of the beautiful spaces I rent for larger workshops.
Enjoy making art in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
All workshops of 5 or less participants take place in my home studio, located on mid-Main St. in the Riley Park Neighbourhood. I love hosting at home! I've worked hard to make it a clean, comfortable and inspiring space. Doesn't hurt that I can serve drinks here ; )

"Erin Green is an exceptional teacher as well as a gifted artist. After instructing my son in art classes, I hired Erin to host a corporate event and it was a huge success! She has amazing skills and knowledge and has an incredible way of connecting with people of all ages. Her students are encouraged to believe that there is an artist inside each of them. Weeks after the event people were still talking about Erin's art table!"

My journey as an art teacher
I have spent the past ten years teaching art to children and adults throughout the Lower Mainland. Working from my own curricula, I currently teach classes through Art's Umbrella, community centres, my home studio, and art catering.
I love connecting with people while helping them feel confident in their abilities! I also love the challenge of creating and designing projects specific to individual learning styles.
Over the years I have taught hundreds of students, ages 3-70 and every one of them has inspired me!
The following are some of the workshops I have designed for students of all ages. These classes can be taught over several sessions or compressed into one.
the Nature of Watercolour- Learn several watercolour techniques while creating beautiful paintings of flowers and trees.
Don't Eat Your Art - Watercolour popsicles, collage burgers, and sushi dioramas! This class is all about delicious (and sometimes perfectly disgusting!) looking art. Multi-media is the focus of this fun class.
Space craft - Students make alien landscapes, paint nebulas and planets, and create a Hubble telescope (complete with a vintage Hubble photo) -- all while learning about the cosmos!
Drawing the Tropics - Surrounded by tropical flowers and plants learn the basics of drawing and shading.
Merry Cosmos! - Experiment with watercolour and gauche while creating space inspired greeting cards.
the Science of Drawing - learn my formula for drawing that proves anyone can draw! Using objects associated with astronomy, biology, archeology, geology, botany and chemistry, students learn the basics of contour line drawing, shading and painting in this science inspired program.
